
From September 22 to 24, 2025, the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI) participated in a series of strategic forums during the New York Climate Week, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Indonesia’s global engagement in the solar energy ecosystem.
The first event, the Global Solar Finance Leaders Roundtable: The Case for Increasing Investment in Emerging Markets, organized by the Global Solar Council (GSC) at Bloomberg Headquarters, provided a platform to discuss the growing importance of renewable investments in developing nations.
On the second day, AESI took part in the Roundtable Discussion: Powering the Future – Building Inclusive and Robust Clean Energy Markets, held at the Dag Hammarskjöld Library, United Nations Headquarters, hosted by the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General as part of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) series.
The final day featured the inaugural forum Financing the Future: Sovereign Wealth Fund for Indonesia’s Sustainable Development, organized by the Sustainability Network of Nusantara (SANARA) and Danantara Indonesia, bringing together policymakers, financial leaders, academics, and global development partners to explore the role of sovereign finance in driving Indonesia’s green economic transformation.
AESI’s participation in these high-level forums underscores its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s clean energy transition through global collaboration, strategic partnerships, and inclusive innovation. In this mission, AESI is proud to work alongside its institutional partners , CSIS Indonesia, Tenggara Strategics, UMBRA Law, and Prasetiya Mulya University in building a sustainable energy future.
